Local Health Advisory Committees (LHAC)

Currently, 31 Local Health Advisory Committees and a Community Liaison Group (Hay Healthlink)  represent communities across the district. They comprise voluntary community representatives whose role it is to advocate for the local community and help inform the community about health services available. They discuss local issues, provide feedback on District wide service planning and relay information to and from the wider community on health service activities.
